One big musical family
Donostia Musika (DM) is a non-profit association dedicated to music education and to promoting and sharing musical culture in Gipuzkoa, with a particular focus on supporting young musicians and providing inclusive access to music through concerts, educational activities, collaborative projects and community meeting spaces.
Since 2008, the association has reached thousands of people and promoted hundreds of musical activities and projects across the region. Although it initially focused on classical music, in recent years we have also begun to discover, support and programme new talent from other musical genres and styles, mainly jazz, pop and rock.

A new home for music
The year 2026 marks a milestone for Donostia Musika with the opening of its own 350-square-metre premises at Paseo Arriola 15. The venue has a concert hall with capacity for forty people, three fully equipped classrooms, work rooms and a private library that members can access freely, with more than 35,000 music-related items. Donostia Musika is also in the process of being officially recognised as an association of social interest and public benefit, which will make membership fees tax-deductible.
